What We Believe

  • We believe God is? OMNIPOTENT? Having unlimited power and authority? ALL Powerful (Rev. 19:6)
  • We believe God is?OMNISCIENT?Knowing all things (Matt. 6:8)
  • We believe God is?OMNIPRESENT?Present in all places at the same time. (Psalm. 34:15, Acts 17:27; Prov 15:3)
THE BIBLE - THE BIBLE is the inspired Word of God, giving a true history of the creation of the heavens and the earth, and of mankind, and containing a correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding the heavens and the earth and the destiny of man. Furthermore, there is not salvation outside of that which is contained within its pages.

GOD - There is only ONE GOD: the Creator of the heavens and the earth and of all mankind, manifested to mankind as FATHER (Creator), SON (Saviour), and HOLY SPIRIT (indwelling Spirit) (Roman 8:11)

THE FATHER - God is a spirit (John 4:24), the Eternal One, the Creator of all things: and, of course, of all men, thus making Him their Father (through creation) He is the FIRST and the LAST and beside Him there is no God (Isaiah 44:6). There was no God formed BEFORE Him, neither shall there be AFTER Him (Isaiah 43:10)

THE SON - Jesus is the SON of God according to the flesh (Romans 1:3), and the very God Himself according to the Spirit (Matthew 1:23), Jesus is the Christ (Matthew 16:16), the Creator of all things (Col. 1:16,17). God with us (Matt. 1:23); God made flesh (John 1:1-14); God manifested in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16); He which was, which is and which is to come, THE ALMIGHTY (Rev. 1:8; Isa 9:6)

HOLY SPIRIT - The HOLY SPIRIT is not the third person in the Godhead, but rather the manifestation of the Spirit of God (The Creator), and the resurrected Christ, coming to dwell in the hearts and lives of all men, who will be obedient to the gospel, as the Comforter, Sustainer, and Keeper (John 14:16-26, Rom. 8:11, Acts 2:17-18). So there are not three GODS, but three MANIFESTATIONS of the ONE God. "These three are one" (1 John 5:7).

SIN - Sin is the transgression of the law or commandments of God (1 John 3:4), the guilt of which has fallen upon all men from the sin of Adam until this present time, the wages and results of which culminate in eternal death (Romans 6:23; Rev 20:11-15) to all those who refuse to accept salvation as set forth in the Word of God.

SALVATION - SALVATION (deliverance from) consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Christ: by repentance from sin, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the continuance of a godly life (Act 2:36-42).

HOLINESS - After we are saved from sin, we are commanded to "Go and sin no more" (John 8:11) we are commanded to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world (Titus 2:12); and warned that without holiness no man shall see the Lord (Heb. 12:14). We must cleanse ourselves from ALL filthiness of the flesh and spirit (2 Cor. 7:1) and separate ourselves from all worldliness (James 4:4). If the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? (1 Peter 4:18). No man can do this by his own power, "But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you" (Acts 1:8).

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Jesus Christ is coming back to earth in bodily form as He went away (Acts 1:11), to catch away a holy people (His bride, His church) who have accepted redemption through His blood, by birth of water and of Spirit, and who are found faithful when He comes.

STEPS TO SALVATION AND A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

STEP ONE - We must all recognize and admit that we are sinners. Because of Adam's sin of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, all of humanity was affected by, and infected with, sin (Romans 5:12-14). Mankind took on the nature of sin. Therefore, everyone that was born after Adam was born into a life of sin and death. (Psalm 51:5)

STEP TWO - Repent of your sins. To repent simply means to "change one's mind; to change one's direction; to have a change of heart." It involves making a 180-degree turn away from sin and heading in the right direction toward God. Repentance does not mean, "I'm sorry" it is a quality decision to ask forgiveness of your sins, turning away from ungodly living and submitting to God's will for your life. (1John 1:9)

STEP THREE - Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. Confession affirms Jesus' lordship (place of authority) over your life. Confess that he is your Lord and believe that He lived, died and was raised from the dead for the forgiveness of your sins. (Romans 10:9)

STEP FOUR - Be Baptized in water and receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Water Baptism is an essential part of New Testament salvation: and not just an outward form of an inward cleaning. It is only administered by immersion and is a type or (symbolic representation of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection). When you receive salvation and become born again, the Holy Spirit takes up residence in your heart to become your Teacher, Comforter and Guide through life. (John 14:15-17,23,26)

STEP FIVE - Obedience to the Word of God. Maintaining your salvation and enjoying its benefits is done by living according to God's Word (Proverbs 3:1-4; 1 John 5:3). Make His Word the final authority by which you live. Make sure every decision you make in life is biblically based. The Word of God must be your foundation.

Would you like to enjoy an eternal, personal relationship with God? If so, simply pray this prayer: Heavenly Father, I recognize and admit that I am a sinner. I repent and turn away from my sins and ask for your forgiveness. I confess with my mouth right now and believe in my heart that Jesus is Lord. I believe that He lived, died and was raised from the dead for my salvation. I receive my salvation and all of its benefits right now.

Lord, thank You for saving me this day. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!!
